FAMILY FIRST
We welcome the whole family alongside our team of loyal helpers to ensure fun, safe training activities and match day experiences for all our players. This nurturing environment provides both players and their families with a rewarding social and football experience.
COMMUNITY COUNTS
We are focused on being a grassroots club for our past, present and future players as well as our committee
members, volunteers and spectators; remaining dedicated to Junior Football at all times and respecting its place within the local and wider community.
TEAM SPIRIT
The club focuses on the development and knowledge of team play and tactics, increasing knowledge of
positional play, and nurturing and developing decision making abilities. Game related training exercises focus on
working as an individual in a group setting and encourage the development of leadership, self-esteem and social skills.
FAIR PLAY
As a club we encourage and educate the values of fair play and respect to all; both on and off the pitch.
We encourage a fair level of playing time and rotation to all players within the match day squad and keep the side
lines positive for parents too.
COACH COMMITMENT
Our coaches are committed to the continued development of their coaching knowledge and methods.
All coaches hold an FA Level 1 qualification in Football an in-date CRC, First Aid and Safe-Guarding in Children
certification as an absolute minimum, assisted by the club.
POSITIVE POTENTIAL
We are committed to maximising the enjoyment and development of each individual player within the team setting to extend their knowledge of the game of football and assist in developing physical fitness. Winning is not considered as the primary objective of the club or how we measure success.
SAFE SKILLS
Our aim is to create an environment where football can be played and enjoyed by all, (in line with FA & Selby & District FL rules & guidance) for children between the ages of U6 - U16, regardless of gender or ability. We strive to provide a club that has great facilities, outstanding coaching and a fun social environment for players and members.
